Bexley Ballers (BB) v Chichester Centurions (CC)
The Bexley Ballers will be looking to exact revenge on the Chichester Centurions in their crunch clash tonight, after losing out 4-0 to the Centurions earlier in the season.
In November’s reverse fixture, the Centurions charged to a clean sweep victory over the Ballers, with Jonah Bryant, Katie Malliff, Alex Broadbridge and Noah Meredith all recording straight-games victories.
This time around, the mantle will fall to Spanish No.1 Iker Pajares, British National Champion Georgina Kennedy, as well as Rana Ismail and Oliver Dunbar to help the home team climb up from fifth position in the inaugural Squash Super League table.
The men’s match of the evening will see two Squash Super League debutants take to the court, with Pajares facing off against France’s Gregoire Marche. World No.22 Marche has been in electric form of late on the PSA Squash Tour, upsetting former World Champion Karim Abdel Gawad on his way to a quarter-final appearance at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions last month.
Meanwhile, Kennedy will be looking to record her second victory of the season for the Ballers when she takes on compatriot Katie Malliff. Both Kennedy and Malliff have enjoyed winning starts for their respective teams, while the pair also met in the British Nationals quarter-finals – a match which Kennedy took in three games.
The other two matches of the evening will see up-and-coming stars Torrie Malik and Rana Ismail take to the court, and Oliver Dunbar play against Noah Meredith in the Club Heroes match.
