The Bristol Buccaneers SSL team has been formed to celebrate the rich history of world-class squash in the city of Bristol.
In partnership with UWE’s squash program and Elitesquash, their goal is to bring live, world-class squash to both the city and our home base at Workout Harbourside, featuring players our squash community already knows and adores.
Workout Harbourside, once known as Welshback Squash Club, has a proud history of hosting top players on its iconic show court. UWE and Elitesquash are names that have long been part of the pinnacle of squash, with many all-time greats gracing their courts. Now, with the launch of the new Squash Super League, they are introducing the fresh faced Bristol Buccaneers! Their beautiful club, nestled along the river in the historic port city of Bristol, will be ready to snatch victory from their opponents.
