Leamington Royals v Crawley Magik

Defending champions Leamington Royals host their first home fixture of the 2025/26 Squash Super League season as they welcome newcomers Crawley Magik to Leamington Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.

Both teams will be in search of their first wins of the season, with the Royals currently occupying third spot in table and the Magik in fifth after their opening matches of the campaign.

The Royals’ Grand Final hero from last year, Declan James, spearheads the home team’s squad, with the former Commonwealth Games Gold medallist taking on compatriot George Parker, who will be making his Squash Super League debut.

World No.32 Lucy Turmel and World No.96 Lowri Roberts are the two female pros going head-to-head in this fixture, with the latter arriving in strong form after capturing the Bee Squash Open title earlier this month. Turmel, meanwhile, reached her maiden Gold-level quarter-final on the PSA Squash Tour in January at the Karachi Open.

Meanwhile, England’s Ben Smith makes steps up for the Royals as he takes on compatriot Heston Malik in the U25s match, while Owain Taylor and Diego Pita square off in the Club Hero encounter.

St. George’s Hill Knights v Chichester Centurions

A top-of-the-table clash sees St George’s Hill Knights host the Chichester Centurions in the other match of the evening.

Four well-poised matches await fans at the St George’s Hill Squash Club in Weybridge, with World No.5 Joel Makin headlining the home team’s line-up against the in-form Gregoire Marche.

Marche looked in vintage form at the recent Windy City Open in Chicago, reaching his maiden Platinum semi-final on the PSA Squash Tour at the age of 35. The Frenchman will likely prove a dangerous prospect for Makin in a quick-fire best-of-three format. Makin, meanwhile, returned from injury earlier this month and will be hoping to show he’s back to full fitness ahead of a busy period of the season.

Scottish No.1 Georgia Adderley and Malaysian No.1 Sivasangari Subramaniam will go head-to-head in the one women’s fixture of the evening. World No.6 Sivasangari has proven her world-class capabilities in the best-of-three format when winning the London Classic two years ago, and will be hoping to continue this trend this Friday.

The other two matches of this fixture will see Rhys Evans take on British U19 Junior Champion Dylan Roberts, and Club Hero’s Miles Jenkins and Noah Merdith take to court in search of crucial points for their teams.
