The eagerly anticipated final two group stage matches of the Optasia Squash Super League are coming your way, with the Leamington Royals hosting the St George’s Hill Knights and the Bristol Buccaneers travelling to the Coolhurst Cavaliers.
The table couldn’t be better poised with the Grand Final looming, with the Royals currently just three points above the Knights heading into their crunch clash on Thursday, 29th May. Here are the permutations ahead of their match:
- The St George’s Hill Knights require a clean sweep victory (winning all four matches) over the Leaming Royals to qualify for the Grand Final.
- Even if the Knights win 3-1 on the night, which would lead to both teams being tied on 19 points, the Royals would qualify courtesy of having won more fixtures across the season.
Meanwhile, the Coolhurst Cavaliers will be hoping to draw level with the Knights in the table as they take on the Bristol Buccaneers at the Coolhurst Tennis and Squash Club on Friday, 30th May.
Five points currently split the two teams in the Squash Super League table, with the Buccaneers also able to overtake the Cavaliers if they win all four of the individual matches against their opponents.
Play on both nights will get underway from 19:00, with every second of action available to watch LIVE and for FREE on SQUASHTV. Full replays of the four matches will also be available on the England Squash YouTube Channel.
